Inkspirations Sketch Challenge # 13

Hi all.

Wow, I really am first off the mark today. I need to prepare for my Girls Day Workshop that is only 4 weeks away but I have got a little side tracked this morning and instead of doing preparation I have made a card for Makeesha's sketch challenge. I have used one of my favourite colour combs with this sketch along with my fave DSP at the moment Walk in the Park. I had a little trouble with this card because I decided to clear emboss down one side with my jumbo wheel and of course when you emboss it seems to distort the card so my card in real life is a little wonky... nothing that a few catalogues stacked on it won't fix...

Paper Butterflies

Hi all,

Remember how I told you a few weeks ago that I have some exciting news, well myself and my two very lovely down lines now have a blog page, we are Paper Butterflies, you can click on Paper Butterflies or visit www.thepaperbutterflies.blogspot.com . Jeannette came up with our name and I think it suits us to a tee, paper being that we LOVE paper and Butterflies being that we just flutter around in workshops.

Our group consists of the very lovely Jeannette Evans (and mastermind behind our name), the coffee loving and mum of 2 gorgeous boys Mellissa Westhorp and myself. We are hoping to have a few challenges on our page, of course our latest work and some very helpful hints and tips to do with all things paper. Mojo Monday 103 - Challenge

Morning All,

What a windy morning it is here in the ville. Hubby has been asleep all morning (night shift, last week yay) so I have had time to get a little busy in my craft room, and have managed to participate in this weeks Mojo Monday Challenge. I hope you like it.

Oh almost forgot to tell you. You know how I have been on a little bit of a health kick due to not fitting into my races dress, well I have now completed two, five week courses of Boot Camp. And must I say that I can now RUN ladies, yep me can now RUN..... I beat all of my times, Running, Push Ups, Sit Ups, Lunges and sprint test. And also I lost 9.5cm from my waist and hips. I feel fantastic and owe most of it to our fantastic trainer and of course the other members of our team, it is great when you have other people encouraging you to keep going. But now we are on break for about a month, so this will be the real test I will have to do it on my own.

Inkspirations Colour Challenge # 12

Hi all.

Sorry again for not blogging for a little while, I have finally got some creative energy again and I was able to yesterday get all 6 cards made for my very first Stampin for a Cause workshop that I am organising for October. I am so happy with the way they all turned out and pink is definitely the theme. So while I have got a little creative energy I didn't want it to slip by so I have participated in Makeesha's colour challenge. I absolutely love the colours that she has chosen, and think I will be using them again... So here are the colours.
