Well Hello there....

Hi there lovelies.

Who thought I had fallen off the face of the earth? I have been such as slack blogger of late and looking at my blog the last post was the 6th of November (my beautiful mothers birthday). Allot has happened since the 6th including the Cairns Regional Seminar and my birthday. I do have a valid excuse, my hubby has been working away lately so we have been trying to spend his time off catching up and visiting, also it's that time of year again where the Christmas Parties are starting up and also I am still at boot camp. But this weekend I promise to catch you up on everything, including Regionals, Me and of course my latest creations. Ohhhh, can't forget in my time off I did manage to go and see New Moon, loved it but still like the first story over the second.

Anyway, hubby has just given me the call to "pay attention to me" so I'll be back on the weekend promise.

Take care
Luv Kylie.

Bugger..

Bugger, bugger, bugger.

You know last post where I said that I would get a couple of challenges done etc, well I didn't get around to doing any of it, and I am so dirty on myself. I really wanted to participate in the Delicious Diva's first Challenge but missed out on that one and also make up a card for Mojo Monday but missed that one to. Never mind, but I did get a few jobs out of the way. Like making up 3 cards for the Stampin' for a Cause workshop, yeah.... 3 to go.

Mel and Jeannette came over home on the weekend and we had our very first team meeting, which went well, plus some exciting news to come out of that which I will post soon. I was a little nervous but was well prepared so it all went according to plan, plus more importantly Mel and Jeannette finally got to meet each other over coffee and cake. Jeannette had to rush off so Mel and I made a card. I love it when we can get together and get a little crafty, (how times change, it was only a few years ago that we used to get together to dance now we are little Martha Stewart's... lol). You can see the card below that we made, this is the card that I have as my make and takes for this months workshops plus a box in a bag and pyramid card for demonstration.
Also I gave Jeannette a little thank-you stamp set (Spring Song) for joining my team and decorated a gift sack from Stampin Up with the gorgeous Bella Blue DSP. Jeannette loved her gift as she hadn't purchased that stamp set yet, phew...
So I have been busy, getting done the more important jobs and now that they are out of the way hopefully I can start to participate in my challenges again.

To Do List

Hi all.

Well, I have to write myself a to do list because if I don't I am not going to get anything done that I want to get done, and if I publish it here I feel obligated to do it. What to do first, I want to submit a creation into the Delicious Diva Challenges for there very first challenge on the new website, It has been set up by Kellie and Kristy who are SU Demos in Aust. And here is the sketch. I don't have any idea what to do with this one, but hopefully something will come to me today.

Next I want to participate in this weeks Mojo Monday 98 Contest challenge, here is the sketch. While you are there make sure you check out the other entries I am sure you will inspired by the beautiful creations all the ladies have come up with.

Also I want to get locked in the projects I want to make at my Stampin for a Cause event for The Cancer Council in October in coordination with there annual Girls Night In events.

But first off tonight I am off to Belinda's workshop. I am yet to meet Belinda for the first time but talking to her on the phone I am sure tonight is going to be an absolute hoot. I will back tomorrow or Sunday to let you know how I got on with my To Do List....

Have a fantastic Friday, I am off to work again...

Ps. Ohh I have been reading Twilight and honestly I cannot put it down, I really need to finish the book so I can watch the movie. Also I have just heard that a previous book that I read and loved "Lovely Bones" is being made into a movie, and is due for release soon... have to keep an eye out for that one the book was just beautiful.

Busy Times...

Hi Ladies.

Sorry for the MIA status lately, but I have been having extremely busy weeks, and it doesn't stop until Friday next week. So what have I been up to? Remember a few posts ago where I had trouble fitting into my races dress and broke it and also the back up didn't fit and had to race and buy another one, (ohhhh, hate to be reminded of that) well anyway I have done something about it (had to, believe me) I have been taking a boot camp class 2 nights a week and this is our 5th and final week, I am loving it there are sooooo many different levels of fitness in our group and the trainers are very professional yet everyone is achieving fantastic results. I don't know if I have lost any weight (Thursday will be my test) but I am feeling soooooo much better and also loving the fact that I can now run and look forward to the hard training sessions. We are going again on August 11 for another 5 weeks, so at least this time I will know what I am in for.

So, in between all of my training sessions I have had the pleasure to meet some wonderful new Stampin friends. I have had a couple of workshops the past couple of weeks and one next Friday for a new friend. I cannot wait, the last one and the next one are with crafters who haven't really seen or heard of SU before, I get all excited when I am showing first timers because I love seeing there faces and I love there enthusiasm when they use the products for the first time, fellow demos you will know and love this feeling that I am talking about.

Also, I have locked in a date and time for my Stampin for a Cause Workshop to raise money for The Cancer Council in there annual Girls Night In fund raiser. I will post the official invitation this week so you lovely ladies can book it into your diaries.

Anyway need to get going, thought I would say Hi and that I will be back very soon, my poor craft room hasn't seen much action lately...

Take Care
Kylie
