Happy Birthday

Me again.

Another one of my projects has been a letter set for our very good friends and neighbours little boy, Harlen Chase who turned 1 this month. His room is going to be filled with all things dinosaur so in keeping with the theme I made my letters to represent what I think dinosaurs would look like. I have used scrapbooking paper that I picked up from Spotlight and also some little dinosaur wooden animals. I love how it turned out, considering I have only ever made girls letters. I also made a matching card and also decorated a gift sack with my left overs. Trav and I unfortunately were unable to attend his party because we were away but have seen the photo's and looks like the little monkey got extremely spoilt.... I hope you enjoy.

Bugger..

Bugger, bugger, bugger.

You know last post where I said that I would get a couple of challenges done etc, well I didn't get around to doing any of it, and I am so dirty on myself. I really wanted to participate in the Delicious Diva's first Challenge but missed out on that one and also make up a card for Mojo Monday but missed that one to. Never mind, but I did get a few jobs out of the way. Like making up 3 cards for the Stampin' for a Cause workshop, yeah.... 3 to go.

Mel and Jeannette came over home on the weekend and we had our very first team meeting, which went well, plus some exciting news to come out of that which I will post soon. I was a little nervous but was well prepared so it all went according to plan, plus more importantly Mel and Jeannette finally got to meet each other over coffee and cake. Jeannette had to rush off so Mel and I made a card. I love it when we can get together and get a little crafty, (how times change, it was only a few years ago that we used to get together to dance now we are little Martha Stewart's... lol). You can see the card below that we made, this is the card that I have as my make and takes for this months workshops plus a box in a bag and pyramid card for demonstration.
Also I gave Jeannette a little thank-you stamp set (Spring Song) for joining my team and decorated a gift sack from Stampin Up with the gorgeous Bella Blue DSP. Jeannette loved her gift as she hadn't purchased that stamp set yet, phew...
So I have been busy, getting done the more important jobs and now that they are out of the way hopefully I can start to participate in my challenges again.

To Do List

Hi all.

Well, I have to write myself a to do list because if I don't I am not going to get anything done that I want to get done, and if I publish it here I feel obligated to do it. What to do first, I want to submit a creation into the Delicious Diva Challenges for there very first challenge on the new website, It has been set up by Kellie and Kristy who are SU Demos in Aust. And here is the sketch. I don't have any idea what to do with this one, but hopefully something will come to me today.

Next I want to participate in this weeks Mojo Monday 98 Contest challenge, here is the sketch. While you are there make sure you check out the other entries I am sure you will inspired by the beautiful creations all the ladies have come up with.

Also I want to get locked in the projects I want to make at my Stampin for a Cause event for The Cancer Council in October in coordination with there annual Girls Night In events.

But first off tonight I am off to Belinda's workshop. I am yet to meet Belinda for the first time but talking to her on the phone I am sure tonight is going to be an absolute hoot. I will back tomorrow or Sunday to let you know how I got on with my To Do List....

Have a fantastic Friday, I am off to work again...

Spring Mini

Ohh la la...

I just love the new goodies in this years very first Mini. Like all mini's the Spring edition goes for 3 months, if you haven't had a chance to look at it click on the catalogue anywhere on my blog and you will be taken directly there. You will just love the new stamp sets and also the prices, Stampin Up have done us a very big favour and kept the stamp sets down a little (shh... so we can purchase more, without feeling guilty... that's what I have been telling myself anyway) Also if you live in FNQ and are like me and love the Whisper White Craft Ink but can't use it because it never dries, well there is now the stazon white and also the stazon cleaner, yayyyyy, SU have heard our calls. If you have any questions please just pop me an e-mail or leave a comment and I will answer all. I will be back on the weekend with some posts of projects I have made with the new sets that I purchased in our Demo pre-order.

Best be off, another full day of work.... Cannot wait until I can finally do this full time, but in the meantime work here I come.
