How would you put it, I lost interest. But I think I am getting excited again. I want to start learning something new and with that I think I am going to take up Scrapbooking, I am not a scrapbooker at all but I love the concept and would love to make use of all my Stampin Up products.</div><div><br /></div><div>So to start me off I decided to give a couple of challenges ago. My plan is to turn the layout and colours of the card into my first 12 x 12 scrap page. The 2 challenges I choose were from <a href="http://suochallenges.com/?p=1582">SUO Challenges</a> where we had to create a Congratulations card and the second being <a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-bL7LVNZcdzo/T4MeKJMcHsI/AAAAAAAAHec/fu2nAQwpkLE/s1600/Mojo236Sketch.gif">Mojo Monday</a>, purely because my brain couldn't cope with coming up with a layout from scratch....</div><div><br /></div><div><img src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-XSXi1gctIbU/T4ozrXcpFmI/AAAAAAAAAkw/qetkcyvHllI/s320/DSCN0199.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5731450295903917666" style="display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 286px; height: 320px; " /></div><div> All of my products I have used are from Stampin' Up! </div><div><br /></div><div>I hope to be back here with my first ever 12 x 12 scrap page layout. Recently I purchased the gorgeous Medallion Stamp, I have been wanting this for a while now and thought to myself that I must just have it. It's a little bit bigger in real life than what I was expecting but I LOVE IT. So I have teamed up my new favourite stamp with this weeks <a href="http://www.jac-inks.blogspot.com/">Jac-Inks Challenge </a>#6 and love how it turned out. I had a few attempts with the middle bit but in the end I like how it turned out. For a while now I have wanted to do a plain Black and White/Vanilla card, I tried it on this one but found that I needed another colour to break it up so I used Crumb Cake (Kraft). I am determined to only use the 2 colours, so maybe I might give the sketch another go later in the week. I hope you enjoy.<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5595245709384161362" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 233px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-0V9aAl4CXJQ/TaZOU-rfGFI/AAAAAAAAAjc/q8Xg1K-FWq8/s320/Mojo186Sketch.png" border="0" /><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-0V9aAl4CXJQ/TaZOU-rfGFI/AAAAAAAAAjc/q8Xg1K-FWq8/s1600/Mojo186Sketch.png"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5595245699597037810" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-V9I-mjus4YU/TaZOUaODcPI/AAAAAAAAAjM/Iz244fwpm38/s320/IMG_3138.JPG" border="0" /></a> <br /><div><br /><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5595245708439440706" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-HqZsy24kIQs/TaZOU7KPzUI/AAAAAAAAAjU/gn_QAvtUGk4/s320/IMG_3139.JPG" border="0" /> Supplies</div><br /><div>Stamps: Dreams du Jour</div><br /><div>Card: Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Crumb Cake, Love Letter DSP</div><br /><div>Inks: Black Stazon, Crumb Cake</div><br /><div>Accessories: Crumb Cake Grosgrain Ribbon, Half Pearl, Hemp Twine, 1" Circle Punch</div><br /><div></div></div>Kylie Maherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07527947865696030215noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8590479183693366138.post-33070378864242364912011-04-09T10:17:00.006+10:002011-04-09T10:46:48.154+10:00Jac-Inks Challenge 5 - Colour Challenge<div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8hHM6232UNg/TZ-nP7ovXeI/AAAAAAAAAi0/uDB9o24vPws/s1600/IMG_3106.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5593373154365890018" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 164px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 159px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8hHM6232UNg/TZ-nP7ovXeI/AAAAAAAAAi0/uDB9o24vPws/s320/IMG_3106.JPG" border="0" /></a> Hi again. <br /><div><br /><div><br /><div></div><br /><div>My second project is for this fortnight's <a href="http://www.jac-inks.blogspot.com/">Jac-Inks</a> Colour Challenge. I don't have an oval template so I printed out an oval shape from word, cut it out and traced around my template onto DSP then cut out. I found that my cutting wasn't to crash hot so I decided to distress the edges so no one could see my awful cutting skills. The same went for the circles, I am yet to purchase the Scissor Circle (on my wish list) so my template this time was a plastic cup. I used Artistic Etchings, Well Scripted stamp sets, Newsprint DSP, Riding Hood Red and Vanilla Card Stock, along with Riding Hood Red and Stazon Black inks, and an Antique Brad, all supplies are from Stampin Up.</div><div align="left"></div><div align="left"><br /></div><div align="left"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5577807554844350914" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 165px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-fUCJ_rUdC9U/TWhaayv82cI/AAAAAAAAAg0/9mAE1xGSSVg/s320/jac-inks_Sketch_Challenge__2.jpg" border="0" /></div><div align="left"> </div><div align="left"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5577785753724382978" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 237px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-sRiWzgyMGFo/TWhGlzP57wI/AAAAAAAAAgU/CB6H8DKrSf8/s320/IMG_3064.JPG" border="0" /> </div><div align="left"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5577785752143546962" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 355px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 192px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-21MiPKXuF_I/TWhGltXASlI/AAAAAAAAAgM/GUIEG0q1O88/s320/IMG_3062.JPG" border="0" /></div><div align="left"> Close up of the distress circles</div><div align="left"><br /></div><div align="left"></div><div align="left">The next challenges that I wanted to give a go was a sketch challenge from <a href="http://inkspirations-challenges.blogspot.com/">Inkspirations Challenges</a> and a new site I found for a colour challenge <a href="http://stampawaywithme.blogspot.com/">Stamp away with me </a>,I teamed the two challenges together and came up with a cute card for my Mum for Mothers Day. I have been keeping very busy in the last six months, I ran in my first marathon and competed in my first Triathlon, had my 30th birthday party which was a fantastic night. All of my friends and family packed into the Exchange Hotel here in Townsville for a night of eating, dancing and a few beverages. <img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5565186213928987602" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/TTuDYD4ja9I/AAAAAAAAAfA/qXA72L3WcEo/s320/Mum%2B%2526%2BI.bmp" border="0" /></div><div align="center">Mum & I at my 30th</div><div align="center"></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5565187504735282322" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/TTuEjMgwZJI/AAAAAAAAAfg/efJ48OcC_eE/s320/IMG_2820.JPG" border="0" /> <p align="center">My invitation </p><p align="left">Christmas which I got my very own RED Kenwood Mix Master, the maiden voyage was White Chocolate Friands which were to die for. <img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5565186238868045794" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/TTuDZgyfP-I/AAAAAAAAAfY/-iNpd-A6Ho0/s320/IMG_2905.JPG" border="0" /></p><div align="center">Nigella eat your heart out, the new Kenwood...</div><div align="center"></div><br />And hubby has had surgery on his wrist and we have had to travel to Ipswich in Queensland a couple of times for the Operations. Thankfully it is healing quite well and the doctor is very happy with the result, the injury that he sustained was quite severe therefore causing the ligament in his wrist to snap off the bone and if the surgery wasn't a success his wrist would have been fused together which is the worst outcome of all considering that his work requires him to have full function of this hand. But thankfully this was not the case.<br /><br /><br />A little wile ago I was lucky enough to be asked to present a Workshop Wow at our Cairns Regional Conference and apart of my thank-you from Stampin Up I was able to pick one stamp set out of the IBC for FREE. I have had my eye on Awash with Flowers for some time but didn't want to part with my $$ so I knew exactly what set I would choose with my thank-you voucher. I have only just put it together and used it for the first time to make a good friend of mine a birthday card. And I have also used for the first time the Masking Technique, this technique has been around since I started stamping but have always felt nervous when attempting it and never have, but to be honest it is so simple and effective. I am submitting this in <a href="http://www.jac-inks.blogspot.com/">Jac-Inks </a>very first challenge, congratulations ladies on your new venture.<br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5565180473064310546" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 262px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/TTt-J5fwRxI/AAAAAAAAAe4/9xdFskSsbI0/s320/IMG_2948.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br />So that is what I have been up to, I hope this year I have time to get creative again.<br /><br /><br />Take care all<br />Love KylieKylie Maherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07527947865696030215noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8590479183693366138.post-56999815435056073172010-11-01T17:49:00.006+10:002010-11-01T18:14:58.819+10:00GNI 2010Hi Ladies <div><div><div><div><div><div><div></div><br /><div>Well another Girls Night In has been and gone, and again this year was a great success. I am hosting my annual Girls Night In on the 30th of October at Oonoonba Community Hall here in sunny Townsville. I have been extremely busy these last couple of weeks preparing for what is going to be an awesome day. I have 6 exciting projects that the ladies will be making on the day all using brand NEW products out of the new IBC, there will also be heaps of giveaways, and raffles and of course 4 hours of crafting bliss. I still have a few spots available if anyone would like to come along, cost for the day is $30 and you will only need to bring adhesive. If you would like to come please leave me a comment of e-mail me at <a href="mailto:tkmaher1@bigpond.com">tkmaher1@bigpond.com</a><br /><br />I will be back with heaps more next week, I have so much to show and tell you all. We have the Regional Conference in Cairns on the weekend which I am very excited about, so I will come back and post for you all and show you my swaps.<br /><br />Until then, happy Stampin'<br />KylieKylie Maherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07527947865696030215noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8590479183693366138.post-36212686814057393282010-06-27T08:05:00.004+10:002010-06-27T08:24:09.412+10:00HELP.......<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/TCZ85bNZlKI/AAAAAAAAAdM/E4o60Lshxa8/s1600/IMG_2768.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 136px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/TCZ85bNZlKI/AAAAAAAAAdM/E4o60Lshxa8/s320/IMG_2768.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5487210521995875490" border="0" /></a>Hello lovely ladies.<br />Well it has been quite a while since I last blogged. Like everything and everyone life really does take over and before you know it 2 months have passed us by with a blink of an eye. The Maher household has been quite busy of late, we have had great friends of ours visit from Canberra, hubby has had his 30th birthday bash and amongst all that both of us have been working out of town quite a bit. Hubby has been in Home Hill and I have been about 30km from Greenvale at the Lynd Junction, we are building 21km of road (I am an Project Administrator for Watpac) so don't personally get on the end of the shovel but do all of there paperwork, and boy is there some paperwork sometimes I think it would be easier to get on the end of the shovel or be the stop go girl...<br /><br />So apart from working non stop and hubby's birthday over I now have time to concentrate on events that I have planned for the next half of the year and one of those events is my 30th Grrrrrrrr. I am slowly accepting that I am not going to be in my 20's for much longer but gosh it's hard. So why not go out with a bang hey, and nothing better than a PARTY. I know I'm a little early (30 in November) but I actually got a little excited yesterday and started on an invitation for myself. I really liked how it turned out but it is missing something off the front and this is where I would like you guys to come in with your creativeness. Can you please help me, I am thinking a sparkly 30 down the bottom corner or party... not quite sure.<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/TCZ84-N69lI/AAAAAAAAAdE/CSd_60h-G_k/s1600/IMG_2771.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/TCZ84-N69lI/AAAAAAAAAdE/CSd_60h-G_k/s320/IMG_2771.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5487210514213434962" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/TCZ851FRh1I/AAAAAAAAAdU/8SAbY-Vn4-Y/s1600/IMG_2770.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/TCZ851FRh1I/AAAAAAAAAdU/8SAbY-Vn4-Y/s320/IMG_2770.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5487210528941115218" border="0" /></a>Please tell me what you think!<br /><br />Anyway, lovely ladies have to get back to my jobs, going out with my bestie that I haven't seen for about 2 months later today.<br /><br />Take care and hope to be back here soon.<br /><br />Kylie.Kylie Maherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07527947865696030215noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8590479183693366138.post-58917751903629144032010-05-04T06:21:00.004+10:002010-05-04T06:32:12.039+10:00Downtime CardsHi all.<br /><br />In my downtime a few weeks ago I made a few cards, I have already posted a couple and this is the last of them that I thought you would like to see. The first card I got my inspiration from our monthly newsletter that us demonstrators receive from Stampin' Up!. I get so excited when this comes, because it is filled with so much useful information, and knew that I had to give this ago. What I have done is mix my picture stamps with sayings and punched them out with my 1" circle punch, and teamed it up with matching inks. I just love this idea.<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S98yhJ2uJpI/AAAAAAAAAc8/oEG2EdnGVs0/s1600/IMG_2708.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S98yhJ2uJpI/AAAAAAAAAc8/oEG2EdnGVs0/s320/IMG_2708.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5467144017813579410" border="0" /></a><br />The next card is quite simple to do and is quite effective. I have stamped my Crazy for Cupcakes stamp onto Water Colour C/S in Staz on Black ink and coloured in with my markers and Aqua Painter. for the outer of the card I have stuck to clean simple straight lines with no distressing at all, I think that the Water Colour section of the card is enough texture.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S98ygNHhtBI/AAAAAAAAAc0/awe41f7WLUY/s1600/IMG_2717.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S98ygNHhtBI/AAAAAAAAAc0/awe41f7WLUY/s320/IMG_2717.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5467144001509504018" border="0" /></a>I would love to hear what you think.<br /><br />Take care and happy stamping<br /><br />Kylie.Kylie Maherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07527947865696030215noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8590479183693366138.post-88183911971339693302010-04-26T10:10:00.004+10:002010-04-26T12:33:15.494+10:00Clean and Simple Stamping<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S9TeCYsnLLI/AAAAAAAAAcE/8FNV-doKaY8/s1600/Simple.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 373px; height: 169px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S9TeCYsnLLI/AAAAAAAAAcE/8FNV-doKaY8/s320/Simple.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5464236380477926578" border="0" /></a>Hi again.<br /><br />WOW 3 in one day... told you I have a little bit to share. The next set of cards I have made are for the <a href="http://www.cleanandsimplestamping.blogspot.com">Clean and Simple Stamping</a> challenge site. This was a little bit difficult to do for me, as I very rarely use Whisper White card stock as my base. But once I got started I HAD to keep going. I just love the simplicity of a sketch like this. Why don't you give it a go, I guarantee that you will be pleasantly surprised with the outcome. I hope you enjoy...<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S9T5wzT-ftI/AAAAAAAAAcM/llPUrUc8vzk/s1600/FTL87.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 247px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S9T5wzT-ftI/AAAAAAAAAcM/llPUrUc8vzk/s320/FTL87.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5464266864710287058" border="0" /></a><img src="file:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/KYLIEB%7E1/LOCALS%7E1/Temp/moz-screenshot.png" alt="" /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S9TeB0MegeI/AAAAAAAAAb8/Xlz720jInOU/s1600/Thanks+so+Much.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S9TeB0MegeI/AAAAAAAAAb8/Xlz720jInOU/s320/Thanks+so+Much.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5464236370679464418" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S9TeBcXdG1I/AAAAAAAAAb0/AEZEo039kI4/s1600/Simply+Said.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S9TeBcXdG1I/AAAAAAAAAb0/AEZEo039kI4/s320/Simply+Said.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5464236364283059026" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S9TeA5lN4EI/AAAAAAAAAbs/1DXptKXeB2k/s1600/Friend+to+Friend.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S9TeA5lN4EI/AAAAAAAAAbs/1DXptKXeB2k/s320/Friend+to+Friend.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5464236354945540162" border="0" /></a><br />Stamps: Pocket Silhouettes, Circle Circus, Trendy Trees<br />Accessories: 1 1/4 Circle Punch, Scallop Circle Punch<br />Inks: Baja Breeze, Cameo Coral, Real Red, Sahara Sand<br /><br />KylieKylie Maherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07527947865696030215noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8590479183693366138.post-23570050770644718312010-04-26T09:46:00.005+10:002010-04-26T12:40:07.715+10:00Just Add Ink # 14Hi again.<br /><br />This week I popped over to <a href="http://just-add-ink.blogspot.com/">Just Add Ink's</a> web site for a looksee and I noticed there newest challenge is Vintage, I was so excited because I love vintage and my creation that I am submitting I made a few weeks ago for my Shabby Chic Workshop, (so if you are coming to the next workshop here is your sneak peek shhhhh).<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S9T8uuxUhAI/AAAAAAAAAcc/SXUXavenPK0/s1600/Candles+Close+up1.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S9T8uuxUhAI/AAAAAAAAAcc/SXUXavenPK0/s320/Candles+Close+up1.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5464270127666332674" border="0" /></a>I have stamped my brand new and favouritest stamp set Vintage Vogue and matching Very Vintage Wheel onto white tissue paper, then cut around my images and very gently laid it onto the candle, which by the way I picked up from Woolworths for only $2.50ish, then heated into place with my heat gun. This technique is great with the vintage theme as there can be room for error. I hope you enjoy.<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S9T8udwAOZI/AAAAAAAAAcU/0WBdWPXO7r0/s1600/Candles1.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S9T8udwAOZI/AAAAAAAAAcU/0WBdWPXO7r0/s320/Candles1.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5464270123097405842" border="0" /></a><br />Stamps: Vintage Vogue, Very Vintage<br />Inks: Baja Breeze, Close to Cocoa<br />Accessories: Candles, White Tissue Paper, Heat Gun<br /><br />KylieKylie Maherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07527947865696030215noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8590479183693366138.post-65314660421057961732010-04-26T09:09:00.003+10:002010-04-26T09:44:50.772+10:00Stamping for FunHi there lovelies.<br /><br />Well I have just tidied up my dining room table from a stamping session I had last Sunday (not this Sunday just gone but last Sunday :-) Little bit slack hey, hubby has been away so I was able to keep all my goodies out on display.... anyway, I found a few cards that I have made over this week and though I would share, very rarely do I stamp/create just for me. My friend Nicole bought over a SAB set that I absolutely loved, but never got and I had a little play. I adore the bird in a cage and am hoping like crazy SU bring out a similar set in the future. For these 2 cards I have gone with a clean and simple design/layout. I have been admiring the blog <a href="http://cleanandsimplestamping.blogspot.com/">Clean & Simple Stamping</a>, and love the simplicity of there designs. Hubby and I are baby sitting our 3 Nephews and Niece, 2, 4 & 7. They have been fantastic but boy does it take it out of you, so to all of you mothers out there I take my hat off to you. It seriously is a full time job in it's own. Before the little ones came I was able to do this weeks Inkspirations Sketch from <a href="http://www.makeeshabyl.com.au/">Makeesha Byl</a>, I love the sketch challenges.... I hope you like it, I have used a the Good Egg stamp set from Stampin' Up! it's great that I get to use this set again, and I have also made a little matching Easter egg basket. <br /><br />Tip: if you are not very good at cutting out the oval egg like me :-) grab your sanding block and give the edges a quick sand, this takes off the sharp cutting edges and rounds the whole thing off.<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S66SFxiHn8I/AAAAAAAAAas/ldvMGgwcuik/s1600/makeesha-sketch-020.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S66SFxiHn8I/AAAAAAAAAas/ldvMGgwcuik/s200/makeesha-sketch-020.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5453456826685693890" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S66RsJ5ZnmI/AAAAAAAAAaU/waPwSQh4qao/s1600/IMG_2738.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S66RsJ5ZnmI/AAAAAAAAAaU/waPwSQh4qao/s320/IMG_2738.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5453456386549194338" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S66RrwAlHWI/AAAAAAAAAaM/FQfetdOjxiM/s1600/IMG_2736.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 202px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S66RrwAlHWI/AAAAAAAAAaM/FQfetdOjxiM/s320/IMG_2736.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5453456379599986018" border="0" /></a><br />Stamps: A Good Egg<br />Inks: Elegant Eggplant, Almost Amethyst, Perfect Plum<br />Accessories: 2 way glue pen, Dazzling Diamonds, Foam Dots, Glue Dots, Daubers, Tea Party DspKylie Maherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07527947865696030215noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8590479183693366138.post-27186602763446580852010-03-21T08:44:00.004+10:002010-03-21T08:51:16.854+10:00"Shabby Chic "Workshop<div style="text-align: center;">"Shabby Chic" Workshop<br /><br />When: 18th April, 2010<br />Where: Jensen, Townsville, Qld<br />Cost: $25.00<br />Will include all Materials and Smoko<br />We will be making 4 projects; Home Decor, Scrap Page and 2 Cards using new products from Stampin' Up! It seems every time Townsville has a cyclone threat the city goes into utter chaos. But better be safe than sorry...<br /><br />Last post I mentioned that I have been having a bit of down time and in that time I was able to make a few creations on my own without the pressure of having to pump out new material. Below is one of my cards that I made with my new purchases being, the Aqua Painters and the Markers. I received these goodies when I became a Senior Supervisor, Stampin' Up! generously gave me a $200 product voucher, which was fantastic timing. I hope you enjoy my card and I will be back at the end of the week with more of my Lul Creations.<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S6VNpIwm4gI/AAAAAAAAAZ0/K-F9Ym29y2k/s1600-h/IMG_2715.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 231px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S6VNpIwm4gI/AAAAAAAAAZ0/K-F9Ym29y2k/s320/IMG_2715.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5450848293123187202" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S6VNpx4-RaI/AAAAAAAAAZ8/wls4dj_Shpo/s1600-h/IMG_2714.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S6VNpx4-RaI/AAAAAAAAAZ8/wls4dj_Shpo/s320/IMG_2714.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5450848304164128162" border="0" /></a>Take Care<br />Kylie.<br />Stamps: Fifth Ave Floral, Echoes of Kindness<br />Inks: Black Stazon, Versamark<br />Card Stock: Black, Sahara Sand, Cameo Coral, Water Colour Card Stock<br />Accessories: Aqua Painter, Markers,Kylie Maherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07527947865696030215noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8590479183693366138.post-84839860731054486362010-03-13T16:03:00.007+10:002010-03-13T16:29:41.071+10:00Inkspirations Colour Challenge # 19, MOJO129Hi again<br /><div style="text-align: left;">Wow 2 posts in one day.... I can't believe it myself. Hubby has been at work today helping a friend take out his tray in his ute or cut the tray bottom out, to tell you the truth I don't know but it has to do with a mate, ute and a tray. But it has given me plenty of KYLIE time and I have been loving it, so I have been looking at a few sites that I love to visit for inspiration and have come across <a href="http://www.makeeshabyl.com.au/">Makessha Byl's</a> weekly challenge and <a href="http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/2010/03/mojo-monday-129.html">Mojo Monday's</a> weekly challenge and thought why not kill 2 birds with one stone and combine them. So I have, I hope you like my creation. I absolutely love these colours together and use them quite a bit with my own personal stamping. I hope you have had a fantastic Saturday, cause I know I have.<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S5stIBU9BnI/AAAAAAAAAZU/zPhwVqvzpbw/s1600-h/Makeesha+Colour+Challenge+19.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 84px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S5stIBU9BnI/AAAAAAAAAZU/zPhwVqvzpbw/s200/Makeesha+Colour+Challenge+19.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5447997790053271154" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S5suid-bxSI/AAAAAAAAAZc/QKU2JeeOM24/s1600-h/IMG_2727.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 178px; height: 200px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S5suid-bxSI/AAAAAAAAAZc/QKU2JeeOM24/s200/IMG_2727.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5447999343931671842" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S5stH_4m7kI/AAAAAAAAAZM/8NKKJ9UuhTw/s1600-h/Mojo129Sketch.png"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 146px; height: 200px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S5stH_4m7kI/AAAAAAAAAZM/8NKKJ9UuhTw/s200/Mojo129Sketch.png" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5447997789665947202" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S5swKRH1sBI/AAAAAAAAAZs/Pr9uxJ_kbJ4/s1600-h/IMG_2724.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 241px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S5swKRH1sBI/AAAAAAAAAZs/Pr9uxJ_kbJ4/s320/IMG_2724.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5448001127187853330" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S5sujAAWJOI/AAAAAAAAAZk/whoz5bCaF1g/s1600-h/IMG_2724.JPG"><br /></a></div>Happy Stamping.<br /><br />Stamps: Fun & Fast Notes<br />Inks: Black Staz on, Regal Rose, Taken with Teal<br />Accessories: White Grosgrain Ribbon, Regal Rose Grosgrain Ribbon, Foam Dots, Blender PensKylie Maherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07527947865696030215noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8590479183693366138.post-69723258549453753112010-03-13T08:28:00.003+10:002010-03-13T08:53:17.271+10:00A little bit of time offHi ladies.<br /><br />Well I would like to say welcome back to my little piece of the www. Of late I have been extremely busy with life in general, I have taken on a new project at work ( I am a Project Site Administration Clerk for Watpac Civil) which has taken up allot of my brain space, but slowly I am getting on top of everything ;-) I had to back track about 12 weeks of work, but hey I am always up for a challenge. Also I have started Boot Camp again which is another huge challenge, so slowly I am getting in the right frame of mind again which is good love my routine... Anyway, don't want to bore you with excuses for being absent since last year.<br /><br />So below is a few creations that I have made, while my brain has been full of work stuff it has had very little room for creativeness. I hope you enjoy, and will be back with more.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S5rEeFOWVjI/AAAAAAAAAYM/ZQeCKPOsUpk/s1600-h/IMG_2712.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S5rEeFOWVjI/AAAAAAAAAYM/ZQeCKPOsUpk/s320/IMG_2712.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5447882720335517234" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S5rEdoCswbI/AAAAAAAAAYE/lLQkxqNPYsI/s1600-h/IMG_2711.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 241px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/S5rEdoCswbI/AAAAAAAAAYE/lLQkxqNPYsI/s320/IMG_2711.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5447882712502026674" border="0" /></a>Stamps: Friends 24/7<br />Card Stock: Ruby Red, Close to Cocoa, Whisper White<br />Inks: Versamark, Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa<br />Accessories: Stampin' Write Markers, Daubers, Aqua Painter<br />All products used are from Stampin' Up!Kylie Maherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07527947865696030215noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8590479183693366138.post-17832299092205644432009-11-30T18:47:00.002+10:002009-11-30T18:53:50.027+10:00Well Hello there....Hi there lovelies.<br /><br />Who thought I had fallen off the face of the earth? I have been such as slack blogger of late and looking at my blog the last post was the 6th of November (my beautiful mothers birthday). Allot has happened since the 6th including the Cairns Regional Seminar and my birthday. I do have a valid excuse, my hubby has been working away lately so we have been trying to spend his time off catching up and visiting, also it's that time of year again where the Christmas Parties are starting up and also I am still at boot camp. But this weekend I promise to catch you up on everything, including Regionals, Me and of course my latest creations. Ohhhh, can't forget in my time off I did manage to go and see New Moon, loved it but still like the first story over the second.<br /><br />Anyway, hubby has just given me the call to "pay attention to me" so I'll be back on the weekend promise.<br /><br />Take care<br />Luv Kylie.Kylie Maherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07527947865696030215noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8590479183693366138.post-81419057245189495252009-11-06T20:03:00.004+10:002009-11-06T20:15:08.314+10:00My New Stampin' Up! But I am using different colours. Confused!!! well I have 5 cards that I have made up in a colour combo and I have replicated those 5 cards with different colour combos, catching on now. And one of those combos I have decided to use inspiration from <a href="http://www.makeeshabyl.com.au/">Makeesha Byl's</a> Inspiration Challenge, Inspiration for the others I will show soon but if you are close to me you will know one (what am I currently obsessed with?)</div><br /><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5396361769132224626" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 157px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/SuO6cBif8HI/AAAAAAAAAWI/XS_U2_KMQ7M/s320/makeesha-inspiration-challenge-14.jpg" border="0" /></div><div>So here are my 5 cards, I hope you like them. They are very simple and I have only managed to do simple stamping, paper piercing and a tiny bit of water colouring. </div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5396363083182361746" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 261px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/SuO7ogwdzJI/AAAAAAAAAWg/32XroyDUNu0/s320/IMG_2500.JPG" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5396363090588678690" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 285px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/SuO7o8WROiI/AAAAAAAAAWo/J6UfJI9kvVI/s320/IMG_2501.JPG" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5396363081986711010" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 201px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/SuO7ocTZneI/AAAAAAAAAWY/eM_YDbTKXBg/s320/IMG_2499.JPG" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5396363091591808930" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/SuO7pAFbx6I/AAAAAAAAAWw/XES4co8ViPY/s320/IMG_2502.JPG" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5396363435091536978" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 230px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/SuO78_uJrFI/AAAAAAAAAXA/mb-cuNHE3oo/s320/IMG_2504.JPG" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5396363427378776754" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 245px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_wbonhB14wg8/SuO78i_SSrI/AAAAAAAAAW4/hdythgKaj9Y/s320/IMG_2503.JPG" border="0" /><br />Take Care</div><div><strong><em><span style="font-size:180%;color:#ff6666;">Kylie.</span></em></strong></div><strong><em><span style="font-size:180%;color:#ff6666;"></span></em></strong></div><div><strong><em><span style="font-size:180%;color:#ff6666;"></span></em></strong><strong><em><span style="font-size:180%;color:#ff6666;"></span></em></strong></div><div><div><span style="color:#000000;">Ps.
